Der/Die/Das on the audio recordings..

Just a quick mention that I wish the recordings would always introduce new words in the Der/Dir/Das format straightaway. At the moment, the recordings introduce words in the format "Bahnhof. _Der_ Bahnhof". I've taken to trying to ignore the first word, and waiting for the "Der Bahnhof" part, as this is the format you really need to remember to successfully master this language (or at least, to avoid making tell-tale mistakes to show you're struggling through speaking the language !) If the recordings could focus more on always repeating the words _including _the Gender (rather than skipping it, or using Ein/Eine), this would make learning far easier. That said, it seems to be a fab course, and I'm enjoying it so far.

initially i had the same concern but the course is built on repetition and after you've listened to a section like 4 times the der die das part seems effortless. i think the reason they've built the course this way is before you can worry about gender you have to be able to pronounce the word, but as you get going you'll realize that they repeat the gender part quite ofter. if you couple that with the grammar guide which give ways to make learning der die and das easier you'll soon find out that the foundation is there. trust me when i first got Rocket German i worried about it myself, and now that i've been through the RG and MRG a few times i realized that's the easy part! enjoy your studies! :D

Hi there, thanks for the suggestion. This is certainly something we can change for future material. If you prefer to hear the article and the noun together, rather than the noun once and then again with an article than we can certainly change that. Just as t3chn1ck mentioned we did this so that you can hear the new word once and get a handle on how it sounds and then a few seconds later give you the gender that goes along with it. We are always open for suggestions. Let me know what you prefer and we will take the advice on board. Thank you! :D
