Entering words into "My vocab"

I have just tried to add a new word to "My vocab" using the highlighted word method. 
I tried to add the definite article (to make the gender explicit), but when I pressed the space bar at the end of the word (der) it doesn't get inserted into the my vocab field, but instead it triggers an audio recording from the lesson.

It looks like it treats it as a "hot key", so I'm wondering if there's a glitch in the recent updates?

Thanks for getting in touch with us about this! 

It could be that you had the Flashcards activity open at the bottom of the lesson and when you hit the space bar, this triggered the Flashcards function. Our tech team is rolling out a fix so that this doesn't happen anymore. It should be live shortly. Please do let us know if you're still experiencing issues with this later on today!

I've had an update from our technical team on this issue. They have completed the space bar fix, but find that the space bar and Flashcards activity may not have been the issue; in fact, hitting any of the other established hot keys after any Reinforcement activity has been opened will still affect the activity (e.g. hitting "R" will start the recording, hitting "P" will play the audio, etc.). They are working towards a broader fix; however, until they have sorted that out, they recommend refreshing the page. This will stop the hot keys from responding until you start an activity again.

Thanks for that!  I did wonder because I tried to recreate the issue in Rocket French but it worked fine. Going by your post that was probably because I hadn't up to then been doing any of the reinforcement activities prior to that.

I'll check later if the fix has worked.
