Fuzzy sounding greeting recording

My Microsoft headset audio sounds fuzzy when I try to record my "hello" greeting.. Is it my microphone's fault? thank you. ron

Hard to say. Do you have a built in micro phone as well? You could try that. Or, you could borrow another one and try. If it still sounds fuzzy, try fiddling with your recording settings.
