Hallo Paul und alle. Ich bin ein grosse NENA fan seit 1984. Ich gefunden ein fernsehen programm called "100 Prozent",..... mit NENA. Ich glaube es ist episode #1. Does anyone know how or where I can find this episode with subtitles? Sie sprechen zu schnell für mich (ich denke es ist schwer zu verstehen aus Deutsche Muttersprachler, wenn sie sprechen zusammen). Ich kann alle verstehen nicht. Danke für die hilfe, tschüss. Jason P.S. Kann alle verstehen was ich schreiben hier? Ich schreibt mit ohne hilfe.................(vielleicht ein bisschen). Ich bin glucklich über das. Auch, würde ein Buch für Kinder, mit Lesen Deutsch helfen? Does anyone have title for a good one to buy? Lassen weiss mich. Danke.

I have found dual language books to be helpful as well as entertaining. The problem with children's books is although they help you learn vocabulary, they are boring adult reading. The dual language books are at an adult level, and having the English translation on the next page makes it easier to learn because you don't have to go to the dictionary or on line translators to look up words you don't know. If you search on Amazon you will find several.

Hi Jason, I am proud of you being able to write in German without help and be understood. If you search for "Deutsch für Hörgeschädigte" -> "German for hearing impaired people" you find a lot of German programs with subtitles which are German. I find kids books in other languages quite helpful especialy ones with rymes that stick in your head but Byron is right that dual language books might be more interesting. There are also books that been that been told from a child's perspective that are easier to read like:"Supergute Tage oder die sonderbare Welt des Christopher Boone" in English under the title "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time". Ich wünsche dir weiterhin viel spaß beim Lernen! Lieben Gruß Paul
