Apologies if you find this presumptious, it's not meant to be!
Firstly, I'd like to say how impressed I am with your course so far.
I have been studying German for over 2 years and can get by ok but wanted a refresher for all the bits I had forgotten. I only wished I had found it 3 years ago, then I would know tons more!
Yet, I have seen your web page before and just dismissed it as another American trying to sell me rubbish type of site. It looks very similar to all the......you will make lots of money if you buy my book......which then goes on for realms to tell you absolutely nothing about the content of the book (just one example!). I now tend to (and did with yours) just close them.
I really think you would probably sell even better without all the big red writing shouting to us followed by tons of writing and too many bold letters.
The addition of test material was what sold it to me after I had been recommended the course and looked beyond the main impression I was given. The trial is also very good.
Or maybe it is just me...and everybody else loves it and was drawn here by it?
Impressive course - bad marketing page

Hi
Just to respond to Mags comments, I think I would have to disagree. I am quite cynical about advertising hyp but I think if you don't shout out in bold etc you won't get noticed at all. However, I was drawn to RG mostly by the free 6 day offer and the examples given. Hey, who can refuse a freebie and then I was hooked by the fact that I could learn German while doing other mundane stuff using the MP3 player.

I also meant to say that I am very impressed with the fact that I got more than I expected. The bonus lessons, the huge amount of downloadable grammar and exercises, games and activities plus this opportunity on the forums.

Hi All
I have to say that I sort of understand where Mags is coming from, when I first looked at this course I had already considered some of the others such as Rosetta Stone and Linguaphone. When I saw Rocket German the website didn't look as professional as thiers and it did give me the feeling that it was a hyped up product as described by Mags. Ironically the price of the course if downloaded was so good compared to other language courses that I was again sceptical of purchasing (that is in no way a suggestion to increase it :) ).
However once I downloaded the example on the website, I decided to take the plunge. I also felt more secure after noting that you show telephone contact numbers on the web site, you don't get those on Spam sites.
Can I just finish by saying I would at any time highly recommend this high quality, 'value for money course' and look forward to the next german product (coming soon I hear!).
Regards Ken.
