Hello. This is more of a general suggestion for the way Rocket works. First of all, I am extremely pleased with the software (I'm learning German), especially because I have tried other language software and so far Rocket is the best one. This could be because Rocket is better suited to my learning style (I'd describe myself as a “serious” learner, someone who gets a little obssessed when learning something new), but all things considered I'd choose Rocket over any other language software if your objective is to start learning a language well and actually using it for real-world purposes and not just as a side hobby.
One aspect in which Rocket excels at is the structure it provides: you get engaged with a simple story (characters talking and doing things), you get exposed to some grammar and vocabulary, etc.; and then you can easily go back to specific topics you learned before. In other software the “getting back to past topics” is very difficult: past units or subjects get buried under the new, shiny things, and to retrieve them and re-practice you must dig very deep in the interface.
My suggestion is making even better that “going back to past topics”. Something I'd like to see is a better, more specific tagging of the different aspects of the content one is learning, e.g.: Grammar, Present Tense, Vocabulary, Countries and Nationalities, Local jargon, etc. So, if I wish to dig deeper into, say, some grammar rules, I would be able to find that quickly by navigating the sidebar or some other part of the interface, besides going bact to re-listen or re-read past lessons.
