How is it possible in German for a party to log 39,000 for a 24 hour period and 412,000 points for the last 30 days? At best, I can only log about 800-1000 points an hour depending on the nature of the materials.

Thanks so much for your post. Unfortunately it sounds as though this learner is cheating. While I know this can be frustrating, at the end of the day, they are actually only wasting their own time, and won't actually be learning German effectively.
I've spoken to a colleague in the tech team, and there are plans to try and curb this type of cheating, later in the year, by limiting the number of points someone can earn within a certain time frame, for example. In the meantime, please just ignore the other learner; use your daily points goal and streak to help motivate your learning.
I hope that helps!

I am glad that Rocket admins are giving attention to this and are considering corrective actions. Limits on points earned in a time period such as 24 hours would be a great start. Seeing someone make outlandish claims over an extended period of time is demotivating to many of us who put in the regular hours to earn our points only to see an outlyer come along and quickly leapfrog to the top of the list acrosss many if not all of the point measuring metrics. I'm thinking of possible scenarios such as a person hacking their way into your server to manipulate point accumulation or even sharing their password/account with many friends allowing an unreal accumulation of points. Thank you for addressing this and looking forward to seeing some corrective action sooner rather than later. It has become too big of an issue just to block out and ignore.
