use of three dashes stops you getting a perfect score in tests

The use of "---" in sentences is counted in the speech recognition tests so that it is impossible to get 100%. The problem also occurs in the "write it" tests where it should be ignored as punctuation but is not. It isn't reasonable for students to learn the positions of the three dashes in order to get 100% score. The occurs in a number of modules but particularly on module 20.4,
