(I write here my question as I wasn't able to post it in the FAQ part of the forum). I'm thinking of buying Rocket German and therefore curious about what level you can reach using it, so I will be glad if you could tell me some sample sentemces you should have learned by the end of the course. Thank you.
which level can you reach?

Hi there,
with Rocket German you can reach a higher level of German rapidly and effectively. You are going to be able to speak at a restaurant, at an airport, with new friends and in many, many more situations. Rocket German starts of with easy sentences like "Wie geht es dir" and "Können Sie langsamer sprechen", but in no time at all you will be able to say and understand phrases like "Sagen wir um viertel vor zwei?", " Möchten Sie einen anderen Wein probieren?", "Ich hoffe wir halten bald an, ich muss mal", "Ich verbringe gerne Zeit mit dir" and much more. Try our free 6 Day Course if you haven't already signed up for it. It's a great way to get started. Have fun- viel Spass!

Hi there,
welcome to Rocket German. I would recommend that you start by listening to the Interactive Audio Lessons, simply because they are very entertaining and it's good to get a feeling for the language by listening to as much spoken German as you can. Listen to each lesson as many times as you like, so that all the new words and phrases sink in, before you move on to the next one. Once you have listened to the first 4-5 Lessons you could review some of the grammar. I personally think that listening and speaking are the key elements when learning a new language. By listening to the audio lessons you will be exposed to a lot of different grammatical features of the language, without focusing on the actual grammar. That way you will become a more natural speaker. Whenever you have a free minute you should practice your listening comprehesion with MegaAudio. Half way through the course you could start reviewing some of the vocabulary with the 6 bonus audio lessons and the MegaVocab game. MegaVerbs is more advanced and I would recommend to read through some of the grammar chapters first and then try it. You can also have a look at "50 common verbs" here in the forum to practice your verbs. All the best for your learning and please get back to me anytime if you have a question :D

Thank you very much for your instructions I´m both happy and stress with my audio german lessons, everything was really good up to today with my lesson 2.1 the long words are really difficult to remember.
I¨m repeating every lesson all day long in the shower, you could not beleive this but I woke up at 3.00 am and start repeating all the lessons by heart. is this normal?
Anyway I´m happy but feeling ensecure with the new lessons maybe it would be to difficult to memorize all new words.
Thank you very much
Rosario

Hi again,
it's a very good idea to go through the lessons in the shower :D . It might seem hard to start with, but you will be able to say long or difficult words without any trouble soon, just keep practising. Your brain is like a sponge, there is no limit on how much you can memorize. The more you use the lessons the easier it will get. Have fun!

Hi there,
I've been using the course for about 2 weeks now. I'm impressed. I thought I could never learn German as it seemed like very difficult to me. The first 4 lessons where extremely easy. I could also repeat the lessons by heart. Amazing. Then, the following lessons seemed more difficult for me, but that's good. I means if it is difficult it means that I'm stepping to a new level and I'm happy with that.
So I think we just need to spend a little more time listening to the audio lessons as module 2 seems to be more advanced matterial.
I haven't thought about written German until now. So I will start reading the written material and doing the exercises.
A few people who have listened to me speaking the little German I have learned are impressed with my pronunciation and accent.
Where they just flattering me?, or, was it as stounding as they say? I don't know, but I'm happy with Rocket German.
Thanks,
Juan

Hey Juan,
thank you for the lovely feedback. It's great to hear that you received such positive feedback to your pronunciation. By learning a language through listening to it, rather than just reading about it you can achieve amazing results regarding you accent.
By the way, we have just ordered a box of PC Cameras (very funky!) and a box of 512Mb MP3 Players, ALL of which we want to give away to Rocket German Members like you!
So how can you get these for FREE? Well... we have 3 options!
