Why does the page return to the top when I save a vocab?

Every time I enter a word into my vocab and save it, the page returns to the top even if I was at the middle or bottom of the page. Why does it do this, and can it be fixed?

Now it asks me if I really want to leave this page. In fact it does that when I try to go to a different page on my account. Are either of these problems just my computer?

Hi Kat21, It doesn't behave that way for me. If I'm on a lesson and highlight a word so that I can add it to the vocabulary, it returns to the highlighted word after I have added it. I don't recall ever being prompted for leaving a page either. The development team probably needs to know your device, e.g. PC, tablet, etc, operating system and browser.

I use a PC, Windows 7, and Firefox.

Hi Kat21, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. After saving a word to My Vocab, the page will refresh, taking you to the top of the page and then back to your saved word. This process might take a second or two. As for the pop up asking you if you want to leave the page - this is probably just your browser settings. Can you try using a different browser to see if it's any different? Google Chrome is our recommended browser, which you can download for free here: www.google.com/chrome I hope that helps!

It happens to me either, I use both IE and Chrome. I agree it's annoying mainly when you want to add several words to My Vocab. I'll try to check my configurations and change settings. Thx!
