Fruit/fruits (फल - Phala)
there is no plural for fruits as one would not get one fruit but get them as a quantity more than 1 ( 1 kg of mango, etc)

You are right. फल can be both singular and plural.
मेरा फल (Meraa phal) = my fruit.
मेरे पल(Mere phal ) = my fruits.
