famous: प्रसिद्ध
bathroom: स्नानघर ( though people use bathroom as such when refering to it- any one hardly uses the original hindi word)

शौचालय Śaucālaya is another one for bathroom.

शौचालय is commonly used for toilets and does not necessarily mean a place one can take a bath.
