What's the difference between chahunga and lena chahunga and lena pasand karunga?

chahunga means 'to like' and when u say lena chahunga it means that 'you would like to take', for ex, main ek kitaab lena chahunga ( i would like to take a book). lena pasand karuga also means 'i would like to take', but the difference is in the usage, where the later 'sounds' more polite. i hope it makes a bit sense..
