I don't know if you 'vivere in Napoli adesso' but a colleague of mine lived there and I am heading there for holiday soon. I think he liked it.

Ciao Piccola, scusa per il ritardo nella risposta. Purtroppo non ho mai vissuto a Napoli quindi non ti saprei consigliare. È una buona idea andarci prima in vacanza. In questo modo potrai vedere con i tuoi occhi e decidere. Buona Fortuna!

Ciao Piccola, Napoli è un città ricca di storia e tradizioni. Ti consiglio di visitare anche la Costa Amalfitana e le isole di Capri e Ischia. Buona vacanza! :)

ciao Piccola. Napoli e' una citta' molto caotica....i do not want to put Naples down...but i personally see it as a very dirty city, not well organized....but ok to visit in the complex. Just be a little careful to who is near you...that's all. There are some nice places to visit...such as Castel dell'Ovo.

After lesson 3 NOW i have a question. I thought Capese or capesi was proper italian. I was taught that when you ask if someone understands it's "Capese?" And i was also taught that when i do or don't understand it's- "Io capisco" or- "non capisco" Can someone help me? Grazie

Ciao Riccardo, on summer time the south of Italy should be amazing! The word "Capisce?" (pronounced cah-PEESH) is an Italian expression used in the American slang. In fact in Italian the correct version should be "capisci?" which means "do you understand?" (in the friendly form). Here below the right version of your sentence: Ciao a tutti. Io spero di andare a Roma per due settimane questa estate e forse anche a Napoli. (Hi everybody.I hope to go to Rome for two weeks this summer and may be Naples too). Buon divertimento (Have fun)
