I'm curious how to get the most out of the Play It feature. Its pretty natural to just read the Italian. But when there are messing italian words in the advanced tracks, I then look at the english to figure out what's missing. Seldom completely successful!
I'm wondering if the key idea is to simply memorize the entire conversation (yikes) or to just key off the surrounding words around the missing words.
Best use of "Play It!".

Hi Backspaces - The idea of Play it! is to get you thinking on your feet so to speak. Obviously as the levels get harder so does the thinking required to come out with the correct response. I have used it extensively myself for French and found it very useful to get into a conversational frame of mind. And, I remembered a lot more of the vocab, sentence structure and key phrases than with other methods. It really makes you think, which enforces the learning. Some of the levels and conversations are very challenging but with commitment they are all doable and extremely beneficial!
