Childresn books to read online

Hi, I've only just started the Level 1 Italian course and am wondering if anyone can recommend some level/lesson appropriate books to read - basically Peter and Jane level. I also remember enjoying reading Asterix in French for my O level studies many moons ago - are any similar level Italian books to read?

As well as the tip provided by AR--9 (grazie!), I'd personally suggest to have a look on the website ManyBooks (https://manybooks.net), which has an entire section with Italian books/readings: https://manybooks.net/search-book?language%5Bit%5D=it
