Flashcards - Level 1, Lesson 1.8

Hello!

I am going back and redoing my past levels as a refresher, and to check out the new material.

Something I notice with the flashcards are when there are these kind of sentences, when I get to the flashcards and see “There are some oranges”, I have no way of knowing if it will be “delle arance” or “alcune arance” based on the English alone. This leads to straight guessing on my part.

Could you find a way to notate these cards to show whether “delle” or “alcune” is asked for?

Thanks!

Hi James, thanks for your post. Our apologies for any confusion caused. As you take the Flashcards tests, you should see any relevant grammar notations (e.g. FEM; MASC; S-I) in the top right corner of the card. If you are unable to see them, please either reply here or contact customer support (support@rocketlanguages.com) with information on the device/browser you are using.

Thanks so much!

Hi Margaret!

Yes, I'm still seeing the issue with these cards specifically, on both the mobile site and the Android app.

It seems to me that these cards are not yet notated to give a hint of what Italian partitive is called for, since the English is exactly the same.

Hi James,

My apologies for the delay in responding. I have fowarded your comments to the IT team for them to look into - I believe this is a known issue that will be corrected soon. In the meantime, you should find the grammar notiations display correctly in a browser on a computer.
