Hi GavinR7,
I'd recommend increasing the size of the keyboard, as the accents can be a little hard to make out at the default size (just use the arrows across the top of the keyboard). If you tick the box in the bottom left corner, you should see the highlighted accent on the right hand side. Select the accent first, and then the letter:
