I miss Maria and Alex from level 1. I enjoyed the repartee between them and the humour. Find level 2 stilted and listening to the conversations frustrating. Having a host explaining it all. Now have started German and right from level 1 there is a host and feel that it takes away the natural flow. Have looked at the German level one conversations, and comparing the learning materials from Italian and German, think that the Italian content far superior. Hope that it will improve as I go along.
Mi manca Maria e Alessandro

Personally, I prefer it, sebongela. Firstly, the conversations are more content-rich, due to the increasing complexity and you'll get used to that. Secondly, I get so focused on the amount of grammar, that any conversational lesson is welcome!
A presto

Buon Giorno ChrisM108
I still find the hosts irritating, German also has a host right from the beginning. Am enjoying the newsletters from the “Buondi guy.” Find his newsletters interesting and enjoy his input and approach. You were right about traveling, we aren't going anywhere other than local. Currently having a heatwave in BC, good excusr not to garden, but to do language studies.
Ciao
