What happened to the "Record"

Please help!!!!
Before the upgrade, everything worked fine including the ability to record.
Now with the upgrade I can only listen.  The record will not work anywhere.
I have an iMac with Safari and the current OS X El Capitan.

Our new version of Rocket Record will work best for Chrome users, as this is the only browser that is advanced enough for the voice recognition software. The other browsers are catching up, but aren't quite there yet. 

Firefox & Edge will be able to record audio without pronunciation feedback (so similar to the previous version but without the need for Flash Player). All other browsers, including Safari, can only play the tutor’s audio.

I would recommend using Chrome to get the most out of your course - the second best would be Firefox. I hope this helps!

Thanks Rocket.  I am now using Chrome and everything is working just fine.

All very well I use Chrome and before the new version came out everything was working fine. now the record is picking up my voice but does not work properly. I get my recording to play back perfectly but the recognition part is substandard to say the least. I hope it is not used to mark any tests.

Sorry no help at all. Everything was just fine before the change. It records and plays back inconsistently I tend to get either 100% ( so my pronunciation must be reasonable):  sorry I missed that try again, or gibberish.I use a headset and have up to date chrome.

Would you be able to tell me if you are still having this problem? If so, does the gibberish feedback relate to long phrases or short phrases?
