Has anyone climbed Mt. Fuji?

I just finished the lesson on climbing Mt. Fuji, so was happy to see that the program "Strolling With Tamori" on TV Japan had a show about doing just that--climbing Mt. Fuji!  They explained how Mt. Fuji was  formed by a volcano, and they showed several examples of where the lava had erupted out of  the side of the mountain.  The whole mountain is made of lava rock.  It was an excellent program, and they didn't "climb by car", they hiked up.  I have a new appreciation for Mt. Fuji now, and am wondering if anyone in the forums has ever climbed Mt. Fuji.

登った時には夜だったから、何も見えませんでした。曇りだから、ぬれてしまいました。でも、曇のあと、晴れて、光を見られるんので，とてもきれいでした。夏だけど、山の高さのために、とても寒いです。時間をかかるけれど、人生に一度、登らないといけません。とてもいい経験になります。
