I almost forgot that I have to ask you a very important question regarding my trip to Japan.
I'm allergic to anything that goes in a pod and the pod itself (peas and beans), aspirin, and most important, to fava beans.
Could you please give me some guidance or tell me how to say that I'm allergic to these things?
Fortunately I can safely eat soy, lentils and chickpeas.
All the same, I always carry with me my medical plaque in Spanish, English and French.

So you're going to Japan! That must be very exciting for you.
Here's how you can form your sentence:
_I'm allergic to X. _
*Watashi wa X no arerugii desu.*
OR
_I'm allergic to X. _
So, for example, if you want to say,
_I'm allergic to beans (any kind of beans). _
you can say:
*Watashi wa MAME-RUI no arerugii desu.*
OR
FAVA BEANS (a.k.a BROAD BEANS) is そらまめ (*SOREMAME*) in Japanese.
So say:
*Watashi wa SORAMAME no arerugii desu.*
OR
Happy traveling!
