How to type tenten

In the Write it! testing section, there is a keyboard provided. For example, when I try to type 'ka' with a tenten to make it into 'ga', the tenten is spaced out from the 'ka' character and it ends up being wrong.

If you check the lower left corner of the keyboard, there's a check box there. Hit that first. Then press the tenten. Afterwards, type "ka". It took me two days to figure it out, but it does work. Let me know if this works for you.
