Is it possible to learn a foreign language while sleeping?

I am really interested to find out if there is any scientific evidence that sleep learning has been proven effective for learning a foreign language. Any feedback or pointer will be much appreciated!

I would be interested too. I know that when I fall asleep on the coach while watching TV, many times I will start dreaming what I am hearing on TV.

Funny that you mention this subject. Awhile back I stumbled onto a Ted talk by a guy who asserts a person can learn a foreign language in 6 months. But he started his talk by talking about a sleep learning program he explored when he was much younger. He claimed that a person cannot learn a language in his or her sleep.
