Is there a way to change the kana composition section so that they are not grouped into words?

I want to learn each separate kana, but in the kana composition section, all of the kana are grouped into words so that I can get it right just by length of each word alone or by only knowing two or three kana in each word. Is there an option to split it so it just gives you all of the characters in no specific order and you have to order each one to make the phrases?

Thanks for your question! 

Unfortunately, there is currently no option to split the kana into individual characters in the “Composing (Kana)” activity. This activity used to be layed out in this way; however, we found that many learners found it frustrating having to click on each of the individual characters, particularly for longer phrases which included many kana. 

I have passed your feedback along to the Japanese team who is considering alternative ways to improve the testing experience.
