I am currently only in module two of the level 1 coursework. I find it interesting so far that Kanji is introduced in both "write it" and Kanji of the Day elements but we have not been introduced to writing the characters yet. Does this occur at a more progressed stage in the coursework? It would be nice to see a larger image of the kanji with the proper stroke order to write them, much like the hiragana characters are introduced. I found in the past that the easiest way to build recognition and recall for kanji was repetitive writing vs rote reading.

Hi azenphish,
Our apologies for the late reply! We have recently updated the course to align with JLPT level N5. As part of this process, we are working on updating the Writing lessons to cover all the Kanji that you need to know at this level, including a new tool to help you learn the stroke order.
The new lessons should be released in the next few weeks. We hope you find them useful!
