Seeing as I'm living in Wales with a total of ZERO of my friends learning Japanese with me, my only exposure to the language is through films.
Problem is of course, that I have no knowledge of Japanese films except for a few Martial arts dvds and (My favourite) Final Fantasy.
I've seen Shinobi, Romeo and Juliet:Missed Encounter, one I've forgotten the name of about a guy who contracts a disease that only 7 people have ever had (if you could remind me of the name I would greatly appreciate it) and even both Live Action death note movies despite the acting.:D
Anyone feel like recommending some?
Yoroshiku.

Konnichiwa Raedwolf!
There's lots of different types of Japanese film. Like Anime, or drama, or famous director films.
If you like Anime here are some recommendations!
__*TONARI NO TOTORO* "The Neighbor Totoro" __
_Hayao Miyazaki's classic animation, is gentle enough to appeal to young children, but anybody with open eyes and heart will find plenty to love._
__*MONONOKE HIME* "Princess Mononoke"__
_I think this one was the best hit ever Japanese movie in America!_
__*SEN TO CHIHIRO NO KAMIKAKUSHI* "Spirited Away"__
_"For the people who used to be 10 years old,
and the people who are going to be 10 years old."_ - Hayao Miyazaki
**Hayao Miyazaki's films are absolutely amazing!!
Now, here are some films by Akira Kurosawa (possibly one of the most famous Japanese filmmakers...)
__*YUME* "Dreams"__
_A collection of tales based upon the actual dreams of director Akira Kurosawa_
__*RAN *"Ran"__
_An elderly lord abdicates to his three sons, and the two corrupt ones turn against him_ *CLASSIC JAPANESE FILM*
And...If you're into horror movies...*THE RING* (the Japanese version!!) is pretty good!
ENJOY!!

Got bored the other day at work so took a look around for titles with a Japanese language tracks since your idea may work for me.
Amusingly, they were had to find. Korean and Mandarin seem to be the most popular but here are some I found, most I liked.
Record of Lodoss War (anime)
Memories (anime)
Bright Future
Seven Samurai
Underworld- J-Horror Anthology
Zatoichi Blind Swordsman
Ju-On 1 and 2
Infection
Hidden Blade
Marobosi
Azumi (one of my favs)
Samurai Fiction (also a fav)
GoJoe
Kibakichi 1+2
Samurai Resurrection
And most of the Godzilla movies that were re-released have a japanese track as well.
Also, if you can get it, the american TV show Heroes has a Japanese main character who well, speaks Japanese.
Hopefully some of these will help.
