When i press the record symbol in the practice sessions, the phrases come up, but the tutor doesnt speak the phrase and i am unable to record my practice bit. My mike is working, is there something else i should be doing?

if you're on windows, try installing:
- flashplayer
- shockwave player
- java
You can find all these 3 on Adobe's official site

i installed adobe flash pleyer and shcokwave, its still not working. I might try another computer and see if its this actual computer thats not working.

some of them didn't work for me either as I noticed later on after more use of the program. Others simply started after a huge lag of about 1-2 minutes.

You will need to have Adobe Flash Player installed on your computer to play the audio in our courses and use the Rocket Record feature. Please ensure that you have the latest version of Adobe Flash player. You can download it for free here:

Please also check that your browser is up to date. We officially support the current and prior major releases of Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari on a rolling basis. If you have an older browser please check for updates or install Chrome (http://www.google.com/chrome) or Firefox (http://getfirefox.com) to be automatically updated to the latest versions.
If you are having trouble with recording your own voice, please try checking the sound settings on your Flash Player by right clicking on the recording area (or holding CTRL + click) and selecting "Settings".
Under Privacy, please ensure "Allow" is selected and tick the box "Remember". You can also check your microphone levels under the Microphone tab and to see if your microphone is being detected at all.
If you are still having problems even with a different browser, please email our support team here with more details and include a screenshot of the problem if possible.

Seems as if I've tried all the recommendations from forum and Ayesha Jones. Still keeps blocking me when I try to practice.
The screen shot is just a standard appearance of the blocking notice.
