How I learn português? While on computer I connect to Brasilian radio. Many stations to select from, however I find radio in Curitiba to be easy to understand. People there seem to speak more distinctly and somewhat slower than in Rio or São Paulo. Online newspapers (O Globo @ www.oglobo.globo.com/ - Brazil & Gazete do Pova @ www.gazetadopovo.com.br/) are good sources, too. There is Google Translate @ http://translate.google.com.br/#pt/en/ for translations. One can use a small recording device to play back to listen to various accents. Divirta-se! (Have fun!)

Hi Thomas, Good research :) You can also hear the Portuguese interactive audio lessons, these audios were specially made to improve your Portuguese skills and they were recorded nicely and slowly with genuine Brazilians. Até logo, Tereza.
