Lesson 1.3

Quero algo para comer

when speaking informally to friends, am I right to think you can just say...    Quero comer, or Eu quero comer?

Olá KarlT5,

Thanks for your question!

Quero algo para comer is the same as saying "I want something to eat" in English, while Quero comer is just "I want to eat." So just like with the English translations, the shorter version is maybe a little more blunt and a little more general.

I hope that that was helpful!

Best wishes,

Liss
