Suggestion: Making the "Listen to the full lesson" audio player visible at all times when scrolling down

When I am listening to the audio track playing in the "Listen to the full lesson" section at the top of the page, I prefer to scroll down the page to the Conversation section or the Extra Vocabulary section so I can read the words as they are spoken.  This helps to follow along and also helps to increase and maintain engagement with the lesson.

However when I am reading along the conversation, I often find myself having to scroll back up to the top to set the player back a bit if I need to hear a certain part again.  Then I have to play that part again, then scroll back down to the conversation section to follow along again.  I'm sure that many other people have experience this as well.  Since I have to constantly scroll up and down this breaks concentration.   If this were not necessary it would be easier to stay focused and therefore engaged even more.  It would be wonderful to minimize this need for constant scrolling.

Here are some possible solutions:
  • Divide the screen into 3 HTML frames (one vertical frame and next to it would be two horizontal frames).  The first frame would be vertical and relatively thin.  The left portion of the screen with all the menu items under "Level 1 Dashboard" would be contained inside of this frame.  Then there would be a small horizontal frame in upper portion of the screen which would contain the "Listen to the full lesson" section.  The third frame (a horizontal frame) would appear below the second frame.  This third frame would contain the rest of the lesson's contents, e.g. Conversation, Extra Vocabulary and exercises.  Each frame would contain it's own horizontal and vertical scroll bars.  This means the audio player at the top will remain inside of its frame, while at the same time, it would be possible to scroll down inside of the third frame where you can follow along.
  • Another possibility would be to make the audio player appear as a dockable/undockable floating toolbar.  This would make it possible to drag the audio player down the page, as you scroll down the page to follow along.
  • Another possibility would be to implement keyboard shortcuts that can pause, rewind and forward the playhead in the audio player.  This would make it possible to control the playback while still viewing the Conversation section or the Extra Vocabulary section.  If these keyboard shortcuts already exist, please let me know where I can find a list of the shortcuts.
Being able to control the audio player without having to scroll back up to the top of the page would be so helpful.

Also, is there a way to upload picture files?  I prefer to take screenshots, then overlay shapes and callouts to particular parts of the screen that I have questions about.  Then I take another screenshot of the original screenshot overlaid with callouts, then I would upload that second screenshot.  This saves quite a bit of typing and conveys ideas more effectively.

Hi Ivan

The 2021 version of Rocket Languages is due out in about 5-6 weeks time. In that version this functionality will be there as a persistent player at the bottom of the lesson.

Awesome.  Today I just bought and started Russian Rocket.  I can't believe the features this program has.  It's quite amazing.  I think this has been setup very well.
