Hello ALBERT N IRAQI,

not sure where it says that… can you please point to the exact sentence?

Thank you

ALBERT N IRAQI

Passive participles are relatively rare in English but quite common in Russian. In English, it is much more common to see relative pronouns like “who,” “what,” “that,” and “where,” used where Russians would use a passive participle. Passive present participles are not used that often in everyday spoken Russian but you will come across them quite often when reading the news, academic articles or in books.

That's in lesson 20.6

Thank you.
