In this lesson we'll be talking about Portuguese pronouns. Don't go! It's not as scary as it sounds! Pronouns make our lives easier. In fact, they are simply words that replace nouns. These are words in English like me, you, mine, yours, hers, ours, etc… words you use all the time.
For example, you could say someone's name, or you could just use the English pronoun, he – ele in Portuguese, instead. See how much easier that makes things? In English there are actually more pronouns that in Portuguese, so you don't have as many words to memorize. Let's get started!

That wasn't so bad, was it? As you can see, these words are extremely important for everyday speech. That word 'grammar' can invoke terrible thoughts, but it's not as complicated as it may seem. Grammar is just the mortar that holds the bricks of language together. Keep practicing and using these words in sentences and you'll be an expert in no time!
