So far I have to give your course an overall grade of "A". I am getting some good experience. Even though sometimes I stray away from Rocket Spanish in order to get real time speaking experience, I always come back to Rocket Spanish. What I like best about Rocket Spanish is the speaking exercises in the testing portion of this course. I also like the way the course is presented to you with Mauricio, Amy and Carmen. Right now I am taking the intermediate level course, looking forward to the advanced course.
I am learning ASL on Rocket Languages! I love the lessons and the videos that allow me to see how to make the signs. I have learned how to express emotion along with signs and how to use classifiers to help with my descriptions.
Fantastic software, easier to use and relatively cheap compared to other online courses out there. Constantly being updated with plenty of new helpful and cool new tools. One addition I would like to see is the option to download to a computer/laptop so it can be used offline, would be great for flights and waiting in the airport where you only get 30 minutes of wifi!
It won't let me put more than five stars but I'd rate Rocket Japanese 10/10 for everything.
This was my first time with Rocket Languages. I enjoyed the first lesson. Tres bien! I will complete more lessons as time permits. I intend to apply what I learn to everyday situations. Learning a new language is very interesting. Au revoir.
It's easy to follow through the lessons and there are additional explanation given in the interactive audio to help me understand more on how to apply certain words in another way! The testing session re-enforces my current learning and helps me to remember better and faster! Makes learning fun and so much easier than I first started learning from the internet.
Overall a decent program. I listened to the audio for the most part. The games started out being fun, but ended up being a little simple and repetitive. There are two things I would appreciate:
1. Organized sets of rules for verb conjugations, prepositions, etc. I ended up with several sheets from my high school Spanish class, and even though this program was so much better overall, this is the one thing that would've helped.
2. Simple videos, readings, or audio that is understandable from the current lesson and lessons before. Even if it was something like "See Jack run" it would be helpful and informative for Spanish learning.
Fun,stimulating! Exactly like I learned Spanish many years ago. Very familiar format. I can,t wait to try it out in Italy. The instructors anticipate your difficulties and they are very patient. They constantly review what you have previously learned.
I`m new here and so far I really like it.
Since i`ve paid for it, I`m motivated to learn the `good` spanish.
We `re going to study some in Spain for the next three weeks.
Now refresh the vocab and let`s hope that there will be a higher level waiting then A1 or A2 :-)
After that, the goal will be to get more fluent and be able to talk about anything.
Fingers crossed
Useful drills and relevant exercises that get you up and running faster than other programs. I have tried other programs and they were very boring and didn't really teach the language. Rocket is a leap forward in learning a language.
I am trying to learn Italian as a surprise for my mother in law who lives in Rome, when we visit her next year. I am learning exactly what I wanted, so I can order food and drink myself and be able to get around as a tourist. I can say, I am actually teaching my husband things he has forgotten after so many years! I am extremely happy with Rocket so far! Thank you!
