I liked using the program during the 6-day trial, but I am a little upset. I started to purchase the premium package, but I changed my mind. I closed the purchase window before finalizing the purchase. However, Rocket Languages billed my credit card anyway. Now I will have to dispute this as an unauthorized charge.
Howdy from North Idaho, USA!
I just started my Korean course -I really LOVE the Rocket method. As a software developer myself, I really appreciate the solid program. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to anyone.
Thank you for the great advice from fellow forum writers about keeping up on the lessons at least a little each day!!
I enjoy learning Spanish with Rocket Languages. It's fun. I like that I can go at my own pace and come back to it and it remembers where I've left off. I also enjoy learning with the games. They are fun.
Hallo! I am actually amazed at the quality of this product! The voices are very clear and the speaker has a sense of humor that makes the learning more fun. I think I'll actually be able to learn German at this rate. Das ist Wunderbar! Danke!
Lessons are well organized and comprehensive for the particular subject. I really like the listen and record feature, it helps tremendously with correct pronunciation. Also, with the writing element, you are getting total immersion in the language.
Awesome app I can learn German easily because I was living in Syria Aleppo and I came to Austria. So I need to learn German fast thank you so much. I need to know the rules for article's then it will be easy for me. This is the best app I have ever seen. Thanks a lot
Too early for a review, I'm still doing the six day trial. The audio lessons are good but I'm finding the rest of the site difficult to navigate. That will most likely improve with practice.
My reason for wanting to learn Spanish is that I have a grandaughter who is just six months old. Her Father, my son, will talk to her only in English and her Mother, who is fluent in both languages, will speak only Spanish. People have told me that infants and older people learn languages at about the same rate so I'm going to see how well I can keep up with her. (Of course, already being an English speaker, I'm starting with a significant advantage).
Not sure if I'm only getting 'Lesson 1' as a trial, because if that's all there it is, it's quite limited. If there are more lessons to come, then I might consider purchasing it. However, with what I've seen so far, it leaves me 'wanting.'
This is a well designed system. You get to listen, read, write and speak. You are given the chance once and again to improve your pronunciation. The course layout is fresh and makes learning fun and pain free. It's also a motivating system as you get to see your progress, and you get rewarded your points that allow to see where you started from, where you are, and where you could be. If you want to learn German, this system does definitely help you. The question is not whether this system is good or not (it is undoubtedly good). The real question here is how serious you are about learning German. If you are ready to put the time and the effort to it, then this system is definitely going to help you... quite a lot.
I am trying to learn enough conversational french to communicate with friends who live in Belgium. This course is a great help in building vocabulary and training my ear to recognize french words when used in a sentence.
