I had study italian many years ago. I was quite fluent but since I forgot most of it. I like the spead they have during the first lesson. I feel I will be at last able to learn properly Dante's language.
I really love how the explanations are in depth on grammar and vocabulary. It is a bit expensive, but I am satisfied with the experience so it was worth the price. I also like how you can practice conversation and perfect your accent via recording. Overall I am happy and satisfied, I only wish writing practice/lessons were included in each lesson.
As an English language instructor, I find the Rocket Korean course is pretty good but not perfect on its own. However, given the price tag, it's worth the shot. I would prefer that instead of text that the software be more interactive. Through the use of visuals such as pictures and videos it allows students to learn more intuitively and recall prior knowledge on the spot. Text support, while necessary to a degree, can become a crutch that visual learners like myself can overly rely on causing less temporal tension and thus leading us to less overall retention. However, of course, this course is good for the price and I have been using it in coordination with a few other applications online. Therefore, I suggest using this in conjunction with other programs as well as considering language exchange to get much needed practice in real time.
When I first began studying the Japanese language, I didn't know anything or how to read or write.
Thanks to great teachers Sayaka san and Kenny San, I learned how to construct an effective way to listen and talk and enjoy learning the Japanese language. In my learning, I aim to evoke the same excitement of discovery and achievement that I felt, I hope to get your video learning lesson soon. You deserve 5 stars for sure.
I have only been using the program for a short time but so far I love it. Compared to other popular language programs I have used, Rocket is the best. The only thing I would like to see added that this program lacks is, reading material. Most of the other programs provide short stories that progress with you as you learn.
I've wanted to study arabic for a long time so was very happpy to find Rocket. The way things progress, the way it's organized faciltate learning very well. My only wish is that were more explanation for how to navigate the different section, especially the one with microphone.
I've only done the trial version but I decided not to buy it not because of the content; the material is quite good actually and, considering it's for life, the price is fair as well. But the activities cannot be done through mobile or app properly, the recording won't recognize what's said, the written activities never goes on to the next, the platform only works properly on desktop PC and the whole purpose is that you can learn anywhere, whenever. If I can't use my mobile and be alone when recording my pronunciation or I can't answer the cards on my free time then the "anywhere/whenever" thing is null
So far just starting out I’m really enjoying the course, it’s going through conversational pieces and allowing for recording and verification when you talk is awesome and I really love that because it makes me pronounce things correctly and it gets me talking OUTLOUD which is great and I think key. I’m going to start on the writing modules soon because I want to get hanguel down so I can try and take the romanization piece out! So far I love it!
I am a beginner and have only taken a couple of lessons but I found the experience enjoyable (1.1 and 1.2). Very easy to follow along with the speakers. That plus the great discount price made me jump to purchase the first level premium. I would certainly recommend to anyone who wants to learn Japanese.
For an independent visual learner, this is one of the greatest products in the language acquisition industry. In one month, Rocket Korean has improved my recognition of native speech and natural pronunciation to a point of satisfaction that I could not reach after three years of formal study in a language academy and travel in South Korea. I look forward to using this program to bring my Japanese to a higher level of fluency, as well. The thrill of measuring progress alongside other users in the leaderboard is motivating, and the ability to move at my own pace has great value. Keep up the excellent work!
