I began taking this course to aid my somewhat pre-existing French in my professional setting, and I'm so glad I did! It's helped me with pronunciation, and grammar, among other things. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my French since starting this course but I must say that the more you practice the better you get, which is exactly what Rocket Languages promotes! Practice! Practice! Practice!
I'm very satisfied with the overall package rocket languages gives you; I'm a visual and hands-on learning and rocket languages includes every learning style to meet your needs. I would definitely purchase this again, potentially to learn a language that I have zero experience in, as I feel it would teach me just the same.
With Rocket, I feel confident I am learning not only words but grammar and pronunciation. It's a great program that is easy to follow, has a great mobile app and a wealth of knowledge online. I've recommended it to several friends already.
I am quite dissatisfied with this system. I know some Italian and my pronunciation is quite good. I was hoping for something that was clearer and more intuitive. This is anything but. I'm still trying to get used to it, but it isn't getting an easier and the "help" is anything but. Very disappointed.
Website has an simple straightforward format, making it easy to navigate through lesson. Extremely good price considering amount of information made available. I look forward to learning other languages with this program.
Rocket languages has been so helpful to me. So much content to tackle and lots of helpful activities for me to reinforce my knowledge. The structure of the audio lessons is great and the narrators enunciate multiple times to make sure I get the pronunciation right. For motivation, the point system establishes an attainable goal that makes you feel like you really are learning. Can't wait to get back to Europe and start using all of my new German knowledge!
At first what I expected was it to turn out something alot like chinesepod 101. Fortunately it had which made it all the more easier to learn without a ridiculous intro to each lesson not only that but the website restricted access to the pdf for the mandarin characters. How desperite are they for money all the more I was still quite pleased with that website but ever so more with this one.
It's a good site for those who want to learn new language, but what i felt difficult is most of them not going to use trail period in daily basis. since we will not check daily due to some sort of work. so if you extend or check the avail period based on login, that would be useful to get complete the trail option completely.
I really like the format on the website. And I really like that it has a mobile app. However I travel a lot and the time I have most available to practice Chinese is when I am on a plane. You can download the MP3 files but I really wish the APP would allow you to cache the sections you are working on so they worked on a plane. Overall I think it is a good value. and I like the program but I just wish it was more tailored to working off line.
I've been using rocket italian for a little over a month now and I am extremely satisfied with the product. The lessons are short enough so that you can fit one in everyday and are also a lot of fun. One of my favorite features is the voice recognition, which has helped a lot to improve my pronunciation. The app is also very convenient for learning on the go and I use it to listen to the audio lessons during my morning commute to work. Overall this product makes learning a new language easy since it is fun and convenient. I would definitely recommend this product!
After only three weeks studying with Rocket Languages I had my first trip to Spain. I was amazed just how much I had picked up in that time, certainly in the amount that I could read and words I could pick out of conversations I heard from people around me or from watching the TV.
There was definitely a pronunciation problem which I think is mostly me and some coming from the fact that the locals (in Granada) pronounced some words differently from the audio in the lessons. However, starting a conversation with a local in their own tongue always goes a long way rather than blurting out in English. Now I can't wait to learn some more and my next trip back to Spain.
