I bought Rocket French on a whim just to give it a try. I have tried many other teach-yourself home language courses in the past but have usually given up after only a few lessons. Rocket French however is engaging and fun and I enjoy every lesson. I enjoy having the ability to interact with the lessons and I especially appreciate the Rocket Record feature for perfecting my pronunciation. I also like the fact that the lessons can be funny sometimes, and not terribly dry as with other language courses.

It is a very good web site if you have learned some grammar before. The grammar explanations will not we good enough for a beginner, but for someone who wants to repeat and strengthen her oral knowledge is is great.

I have been living in China for a year now and have not had the time to learn Chinese. But when I started to make time to learn. I began looking online to see what there was out there. I looked at many other sites and none of them compared to this site. They really are the best that I have found. I like the fact that I can take the lesson anywhere I want to. Whether that be in the car or on my phone. They make it so easy to learn by slowing the words and sentences down and explain them word for word.

I love how you can listen and then pronounce words along with the audio. When I'm having a bad day I still want to learn and I want to make progress on my badges. With Rocket Languages you can learn several different languages without looking for another book/website that teaches the language.

Using listen/record, I can practice, practice, practice until I get it right. The forum is a great tool to clarify something I don't understand. I've created a vocabulary with each new word or phrase. I can refer to often just to repeat them. The many tools in pdf are very helpful.

The thing I love most about Rocket French is the price. It is A LOT cheaper than the others. I also love the fact that Rocket French allows users to download the audio clips. This feature has been very helpful because I travel a lot and I wish to listen on the go.

So far, I've been enjoying the Rocket German course, I like it for interactivity which it provides and that one feels like speaking with a real person/s. I particularly appreciate an availability to pace up my learning, i.e. that I can get back in week or later and continue exactly where I stopped the last time. Also the progress interface and badges are helpful and motivating. I would just advice to keep working on written material (perhaps to provide some additional text related to given topic) and on recording interface which gets messy from time to time. As a whole I do not regret the money I spent for this course and I can recommend it :)

I bought Rocket Japanese after trying out the 6 day trial and I have to say I was really impressed with how organized all the content is. I have to say that I absolutely love Rocket Japanese and I would recommend it to any of my friends and family!

I like the coverage in Rocket Chinese III in terms of vocabulary and grammar. The conversations between Lin and Tao are sometimes a little corny, but mostly cover relevant and useful situations. I wish there was more connectivity across lessons. Much of the vocabulary introduced in one lesson will never appear again; it would aid learning if more words were repeated over time. On the other hand, occasionally a word that has been introduced before will be introduced again as if it's brand new. I also wish the course would more often ask me to construct sentences based on what I've already learned, rather than simply repeat a sentence that I have just heard.

Great for gaining some confidence with spoken Italian at both slow, learning speed, and then the real machine-gun speed that Italians actually speak at. Grammar feeds in fairly painlessly. I also like reading the dialogue as it is spoken.
