Starting from beginning Spanish i was thrown off the cliff suddenly with complete sentences. There is no bridging the gap from rudimentary words to complete sentences. Need to work along side with google translate.. Frustrating.

Honest review
The voice recognition could use some work, but it's fun to use and definitely gets you speaking out loud. I haven't really seen any features offered yet that's worth the price. I'm basing that off of what's offered for free on the internet already.
Another feature though that deserves praise is the 'Play as' feature where you take the role of someone in a conversation. It's honestly a 5 star feature on its own.
Thinking about this in depth is making me realize how much is actually offered and how much I'm paying for it... I could only think of a couple good things (and they're basically the same thing). I can't recommend this to a friend while I'm thinking about discontinuing use of it myself. Wow
I hate the points and streaks function and you have provide no ability to swith off!
I am preferring the Pinsleur system far more.

I am only using the free trial period (for now) and I am very impressed with the content, that as soon as I'm able to I am purchasing the full French course. Thank for for a superb website that offers more than you'd expect to get for free.
it doesn't pick up what you say and it sometimes just says the wrong thing even though its nearly indistinguishable from the prompt

the audio recognition needs work. Also stop asking me to review every six times i record a word.

The more I go through the course, the more frustrating it gets. Instead of learning and practicing individual words, I'm supposed to memorize incredibly complex sentences without understanding the meaning of how all the words work together in the sentence. There is no logical progression from learning words to forming sentences. As a result, I forget everything immediately and feel demotivated. And I stumble over the pronunciation because I have to say ten new words at a time. There is no daily reinforcement of previous lessons, which makes the course meaningless over time.

Thank you for your review, Daniel. If you are finding the Interactive Audio lessons quite challenging, then we would recommend going through the Language and Culture lessons first. Once you have a better understanding of how the language works, you may find that the sentences make more sense. I wouldn't recommend this program. It don't live up to what it promises to provide. If you're a student in college or interested in taking something to test out of ASL 1 and 2, don't expect this to provide that ability. There are much better programs out there, some of which have more to offer for free.

Hi Ramon - As of 2015 Rocket Sign Language has been fully updated. It now has over 2,500 videos of different signs!
A very disappointing course. May I suggest that you review the free DUOLINGO course and try and learn from them. I have also found many errors in the text. No, I do not intend to go back through and innumerate them for you.

Hi Ian - Rocket Spanish had a full review in 2016, I would hope that everything is fine now! (Update 2020: We are going through another full review of Rocket Spanish right now, this should be complete by June 2020)
I would like to learn Korean on my different devices, Mac, iPad and MS Surface, but I have no clue, how the program remembers how far I had already advanced on one device, when I continue with another. There is apparently no way to log in with my ID and Password, so that the program knows who I am. This feature probably exist, but it is difficult to find out where and how.
