I've just started using the program but so far I am very pleased. I'll be able to critique it better once I move further along in the course.
Are you likely to buy again is one star because I only want the French course, so I won't be purchasing another, and Customer Service is one star because I've had no contact with anyone. So the one stars are not an indication of anything bad.
I have found the course enjoyable and I am looking forward to learning French. I also am fortunate to have a friend who is a native French speaker to guide me along the way.
I do indeed like this program. It is divided into manageable lessons and only takes 30 minutes per lesson.
I've tried a variety of programs for learning French, but I've found Rocket Languages works well with my learning style. I'm not just learning nouns; I'm speaking, writing, and constructing full sentences. Some programs I've used involve just listening and repeating, and others just writing, but Rocket Languages has you doing them all, which really makes it easier and faster to retain information. I also really enjoy the cultural tidbits included within the lessons. Needless to say, I've already recommended the program to others!
Pretty happy overall with the medium for learning. I often use it on the go, walking or driving, when I can't check the screen, so the spelling of some words are not obvious until I get time to review them. Otherwise quite happy.
This is a good website\app to learn basic things about the language, but I have one question. Why does the tutorial audio not working on the japanese course

Hi Wyatt - I have emailed you to find out more about the audio issue you are experiencing. As far as we can tell everything is working as it should be.
It would be nice to separate the Hangul from the romanized version in order to better understand the writing system; however, my experience so far is satisfactory. It would also be a lot better to have a built in Hangul keyboard for the writing portion, I had to use another website for this purpose. Even with these issues, I quite enjoy Rocket Languages and will continue to use it for my Korean studies.

Just bought today been looking through the course and I have to say the structure and integration of the way you learn with Rocket languages is by far the best I've seen. I've gone through so many different systems and learned bits and pieces but they always seemed lacking in the way they presented the language be it Japanese or any other this system might be the best I've seen other than having an actual tutor or class.
This app is like building Noah's Ark. It's hard at first, but eventually the work bears fruit. This forces you to practice everything that is studying the language. Speaking, writing, reading comprehension, naturally connecting associations.

While language learning can seem challenging in the beginning, for those willing to put in the time and energy, the payoff is really exciting and allows you to connect with people and cultures you never would have experienced otherwise. We can't wait to see where your language learning takes you!
It is fun to learn French pronunciation and more about the grammar. I also think it is good for my seventy-six-year-old brain to try this new exercise!
