Early days, but impressed so far. I already speak some Russian but decided to start from the beginning, which was a good idea as my pronunciation was suspect. I think the price is very reasonable and,so far, well structured. Ask me again in a month!
My only adverse comment would be the less than optimal quality of the voice recognition. On one word I scored -150% followed by + 100% on the second attempt.
I have been using Rocket German for a while. It's very helpful for beginner who doesn't have previous German knowledge before, since Rocket German break the conversation and the grammar in a small step that is easier to understand. The host encourage us to practice the conversation ourselves a lot which is great in learning language since it's a language if we learn how to speak it.
Will be best if Rocket German can add more materials in future such as, interview topic and more other formal usage in workplace with colleague/superior and other more serious topics like economy. Recommend Rocket German to people who'd like to learn new language.
I have been using Rocket Spanish for a while now, beginning with the second level, then, when I realized it was too advanced, moving back to level 1.
Overall, it has been very helpful to me. I like practicing the conversations, and once I got my microphone to work, the voice activities were great.
However, there are a few issues. First, until just recently, you were able to flag vocabulary words as you moved through a lesson that would then be stored in your saved vocabulary. But now I can't do that. I've reported the problem and have heard nothing back.
I did not get a "deal" when I joined, so I paid full price, which was a bit high compared to other programs.
Having completed the Level 1 Japanese course I feel confident saying that is a great value for the price. This is a solid course that does a good job of teaching basic grammar, vocabulary, and the hiragana and katakana writing systems. A decent amount of practice material is provided as well. My only major complaint is that the voice recognition software used to grade pronunciation is not reliable, which can be frustrating as it is used for graded assignments. However the course is constantly being improved and I believe it's only a matter of time before that final wrinkle gets ironed out. Even if it doesn't, this is still a great place to start learning the Japanese language.
I like everything. But sometimes is hard to repeat the whole sentence. It would be easier if it was word by word.
I am really enjoy learning rocket Spanish, and would like to see more pictures in the lessons and vocabularies. I am learning better with pictures and audiod. I understand everybody learn differently. The audio part is very good at repeating and explain the meaning of words and sentences. I hope this comment is helpful to you. My conclusion is rocket Spanish, is a very powerful tool to learn Spanish language and I love it. Keep up the good work.
Great and easy way to learn a new language. It doesn’t get boring and has a good way of challenging oneself.
Just starting with Hindi after having enjoyed Rocket German for years. I recommend this system of learning.
I have many Hindi speaking colleagues who were impressed with the system as they watched me practice at work.
So far so good. This is my first language learning experience and I'm very new to it. I like the way the practice sections are set up and the repetition. I believe its been worth the investment given my limited experience with it so far.
Great program. I like the flow of the modules and the flixibility the mobile app offers. The only issue I have is that the voice recongnition is a little finnicky. It will give 100% sometimes even though I clearly misspronounced or even left a word out. It will also fail to recognize a word in one sentance but then pick it up in others.
