Good! I am still working on it. Rocket Arabic is a good one and I love the interactive lesson. It helps us to pronounce the words in Arabic wich is sometimes difficult. Some of the Arabic words are very difficult to pronounce them. In this case, It is good to use the Rocket Arabic practice parts. Learning the vocabularies is also a key component of language learning and Rocket Arabic provides more than enough
I'm so glad that I found this program (I saw it highly reviewed on a blog). I'm using it to learn Arabic, and I'm really impressed with all of the ways the program allows you to practice along the way. You spend a lot of time actually vocalizing the words rather than just reading them or hearing them. The program records your attempts at each word/sentence and rates your progress with each one (100%, 75%, 50%, 0%). You can easily go back to the words that you're struggling with to keep practicing them. The lessons are very helpful, and they list the important phrases below so you don't have to try and find them again in the larger recording. It's equally great on the desktop or the app. I first started using the (free) app and liked it so much that I bought the Level 1 Arabic, and definitely haven't regretted it!
It's seems a great way to learn a language through a very interactive experience. I am looking to learn basic Arabic and it seems to be the right program for me. The repetition part of the dialogues really helps. Recommended.
Rocket Arabic is a fantastic tool. I came to it with extremely limited Arabic and even after a few lessons am feeling so much more confident about my ability to learn and speak this beautiful language. The lessons are rigorous but fun and the voices are authentic. I’m a fan.
Rocket languages is both easy to use and fun to work with. The interactive lessons are brilliant and a great way to learn and the writing lessons are cogent and informative. I hope this software can improve my arabic to conversational level and I feel it endeavours to do so.
This is the third Arabic program I've tried. I was told to learn standard Arabic before the Egyptian dialect, but it is a very hard language and my trip is coming up tooooo quickly. I'm so glad I changed. So many of the words are pronounced differently, yet sentence structure, etc is the same. My Arabic dictionary still comes in handy, my spelling is improving, (slowly), and my Egyptian friends are amazed how much my pronunciation has improved! (Much better than learning from someone from Morocco.) But the way the program itself is set up is awesome. The way the computer shows you exactly what letters you are pronouncing is pure genius! I may never get that Ra, but I used to think the same thing about the Kha, so who knows?? I love it!!
The Arabic course is unique in that it teaches colloquial Arabic which is more likely to be understood by the average person. I personally am using it to increase my vocabulary to supplement my MBA and classical Arabic usage. So overall the course is great and would be 5 star if the mobile app worked regularly. If they can fix that and keep it working regularly I will gladly update my review.
I thought that rocket languages for Arabic was good for what it is. Nothing can substitute actual immersion in the language with live native speakers, but shy of that, rocket languages helps one who has a busy full time schedule like me, to squeeze in a few minutes of Arabic every day here and there. I like the fact that the speakers are native and the grammar is explained explicitly, but I don't like some of the interfaces, and it gets a bit annoying how much chatter there is compared to actual Arabic during the audiotapes. But all in all, I thought it was quite effective and fun.
Rocket Arabic is a great course! It's very user friendly and is one of the few language learning services that offers Egyptian Arabic. It has a very nice variety of topics including letters, numbers, pronunciation, writing, reading, and grammar!
This is an excellent program, in my opinion better than the comparable Pimsleur product, because it makes an attempt to explain the grammar. The dialogues are well spoken and practical. The main shortcoming is that there is no follow-up program. We need to have at least a Rocket Arabic 2 and preferably a 3 as well. Otherwise, there is a bit of a feeling of being abandoned at the start of the journey.
