If my wife is in the front of a shop and I'm in the backI would say " Mi esposa está delante de la tienda." and if she was standing outside in front of the shop I would say " Mi esposa está adelante la tienda.". Is that correct? Graciás, Steve

Hola Steve, Adelante is in front, delante de is in front of.. You can also say mi esposa está en la puerta de la tienda " at the door of" the store to indicate in front of. Saludos, Rich
