Hola a todos, Me llamo es Adrian y tengo una pregunto..... I have completed all the stages from 1.0 to whichever it goes up to...like 10.3 I think.... Anyway, I keep hearing now and than about the beginners Book and the advanced book and I have taken a look at the beginners book and have read a little bit aqui y alli....PERO... it seems like it is just a repeat of the lessons I have already learned. So my question is....does the beginners book have any extra content or lessons that werent part of the original lessons that you learn in 1.0-10.3? Can someone please tell me, because otherwise I don't want to read through that long book if there is no new info, though I understand it would be nice review...I'm just the type of person that doesnt like reading "books"online...and would prefer to have it in my hand. Let me know?, gracias

Adrian:
I am a visual learner. The books are downloadable in pdf. I downloaded both books (I am in the second Rocket Spanish Course now) onto a USB thumb drive and took each one (when I was in that area) over to a copy service. (I use Office Depot, but Staples, Kinkos, etc. have the same thing.) I have the book copied on both sides of a page, with a cover stock for the cover and the back cover and the pages in black and white (color is way too expensive) and then have it spiral bound. Each one cost about $12-$15. It then reads like a book and lays open flat on a table for writing in.
The books are a valuable asset to the learning. You get many more examples and lots of practice homework (tarea) to help ingrain the lessons. The conversations at the end of each chapter are particulary helpful for me. I use a pencil and translate into English each of the sentences to study again and again. I write many notes in the margins, just like I did in my textbooks in school. I constantly refer to these books when I need to remember something. For example, I am constantly looking at the charts for direct and indirect object pronouns even now when I am learning new things.

Hola Adrian,
I'm a visual reader, also. I've tried unsuccessfully to find this book--despite having followed various directions to locate it. I've looked under my accfount and also under section 10.0. Can you be overly simplistic directing me to it?
Gracias,

Hi Karen,
I was having trouble finding it as well. You can find the book under :
Section 2 -> Mega Spanish -> Bonus Lessons
Enjoy :)
