Hello!=)
I play music on the street for a living. And there is this only spanish speaking dude occupying the best spot. And he sucks, and make no money, so...
How do i say.
"At what time can I play here?"
And. Something like.
"I want to play for 2 hours, how much money do you want to leave?"
Well.
If you can translate this to, I will love you 4 ever!
"This is the best spot, if you sing. If you stand inside "Nordstan", none will here you if you sing. If you play accordion, they will here you great if you play inside "Nordstan" too."
How do I translate? Help out=)!

¿A qué hora puedo tocar aquí?
Quiero tocar por dos horas. ¿Cuánto dinero quiere dejar?

To you I say:
El pájaro temprano obtiene el gusano. (O el lugar mejor)

Joel: It means (or I intended it to mean) "The early bird gets the worm (or the best spot.) In other words, if you get there before the other guy you get the best place. I know that was not what you were asking, but I could not help myself. Sorry!

Este es el lugar mejor, si canta. Si esta en Nordstan, nadie van a escucharse si canta. Si juega el acordeón, van a escucharse buenísimo si juega en Nordstan tambien.
However, I didn't completely understand you up there, so just to make sure this is right:
This is the best place, if you sing. If you are in Nordstan, nobody will hear you if you sing. If you play the accordion, they will hear you great if you play in Nordstan too.
If anybody reading this spots a mistake, please tell me. Thanks!

Can someone transalte. "I pay you X to play in Nordstan".
Dan: Haha love that! Its just, this guy is extreme, playing 8 hours straight and kind of make no money, so I would gladly pay him to get the spot instead of having to set up a tent sleeping there;)
Natomi T2,: Yeah, thanks!!
That's perfect. Gonna try it out.

Joel: I am far from the best person to tell you how to say something in Spanish, but since I joked on you I feel obligated to try:
Yo te pagaré x dólares a tocar en Nordstan.
I was in Cuba for 10 days earlier this year. Every lunch and dinner a group of street musicians would come in and play at whatever restaurant I was in, then ask for donations or try to sell their CDs. One singer I talked to said she is a lawyer by day, but the state pays so poorly that she has to go out singing at night to make ends meet.
