Hola a todos, Here is a link to a young lady from the U.S. that speaks Spanish admirably and I find it inspiring. I hope to speak as well someday. Saludos, Ricardo

De acuerdo, un día vamos a hablar como esta señorita. ¿Perfecto? no, pero con confianza sí. :) No se rinda.

No se rinda. I love that phrase. The more Spanish I learn, the more I realize I have yet to learn. ¡Pero no me rindiré!

Hola a todos, For those of you that found "La Gringa" inspiring here is something else. There was a recent post on the Learning Spanish Like Crazy forum from a guy that has been pursuing Spanish for about 8 years. He has a girlfriend that is a native speaker and various Mexican friends that he speaks with. While at a party, he was chatting with a lady that was a native speaker; she asked him what country he was from. She couldn't place his accent, thinking he too was a native speaker. ¡No se rinda amigos! Saludos, Ricardo

La gringa es muy bonita and very pleasant to listen too. We should all do a video of ourselves trying to introduce ourselves to everyone and why we want to learn Spanish. What is it about this language that evokes emotions? Maybe just a simple intro about ourselves or maybe talk about a friend we like and admire. Or really anything.
