I often hear your native speakers placing the accent on what seems to me to be the wrong vowel. As an example in lesson 10.5 Hear it Say it # 38 "Compramos las manzanas, pero olvidamos las peras." My hearing indicates that she is placing the accent on the i instead of the a in olvidamos. If I'm wrong then perhaps I need a hearing aid, If I'm correct then why?.
