Good call on reading Jules Verne's books, Ricardo. They were my favorites when I was learning French: they have a manageable level of difficulty with interesting story lines.

if i understand you correctly, you looking for beginner reading books in spanish. I don't know really any for adult yet, but personally - I read children stories to gain vocabulary in an easy way. i read from ( bookboxinc ) on youtube. as they don't sell any in the local bookstores, i might buy online in the near future when my spanish getting better. will come back here again for lists ;)

I just bought this children's book entitled " 365 cuentos y rimas para ninos. (enye) . Here's the first one: El conejo Debujo de un tejo estaba un conejo. Vino un cazador, vaya susto que se dio! It looks like underneath something was a rabbit and came a hunter and scared it. Here's the second one: Alrededor del rosal Alrededor del rosal bailamos, bailamos Todos los ninos y niñas se sientan en los peldaños Around the rose, we dance, we dance All the boys and girls feel en los peldaños ; Maha: If you are interested, I could share these poems, rhymes and short stories here. I just have to get those codes for the accented letters.
