When I am cleaning house, or driving, or doing other things that don't require concentration...did I really just say that?...Okay, cleaning house or fixing breakfast...I wish that I had some simple, slow Spanish to listen to on my iPhone in the background. Does anyone know of an ap or web site that would be good for this?
Thanks,
Dan

There is a website and app called News in Slow Spanish which has daily audio reports of current news in slow spanish. There is an iPhone app for it. I've never used it, but I have listened to some of the reports online. I don't know that the language used is simple, necessarily, but it's a good resource for intermediate level Spanish learners.

Sí, es caro. Another site I know of that has opportunities for listening, is fairly slow and clear, and is free is:

You can listen to articles that are read to you in very clearly enunciated Spanish. As far as I can tell, there is no iPhone app for it, but if you haven't found it yet, I thought you might be interested! I try to do at least an hour a day of listening to Spanish, either on the radio, TV or online, and this is one of the resources I use.
