Silent G in lesson 1.3?

In the audio, the letter, "g", in gustaria sounded silent when Mauricio said, "me gustaria". But when he pronounced the word, "gustaria", by itself, I could hear the letter, "g", pronounced. What is the correct pronunciation? I don't want to sound like a foreigner, even if I look like one.

Okay, I did that lesson today. The 'g' isn't silent. I see what you are talking about, though, but he is just blending. The whole Spanish language is meant to flow. The vowel sounds and parts in words make it easier to speak faster and flow. Listen more carefully, and you will hopefully hear the 'g'. Sorry for answering so late to where you may already be ahead of me! ~Kyle
